Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026. This policy explains what information HomeCalcKit collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

HomeCalcKit's calculators run entirely in your web browser. The measurements you type into any calculator are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone. We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for personal information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information when pages are served — such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps. We use this only to keep the site running and to understand which calculators are useful to visitors.

Cookies

HomeCalcKit itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party services that appear on this site may set cookies in your browser — in particular, advertising partners such as Google. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Third-Party Advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google (Google AdSense). Google and its partners may use cookies, including the DART cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other websites. This is sometimes called interest-based advertising.

You may opt out of personalized advertising:

Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's Privacy & Terms: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because our calculators collect no personal data, there is generally nothing to provide or delete. If you believe we hold data about you — for example, if you have emailed us — contact us at homecalckit@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Advertising partners process ad-related data under their own lawful bases; see Google's policies for details.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

HomeCalcKit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if advertising partners change how they operate. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
